HISTORY AND INTERNATIONAL LAW:
An Intertwined Relationship

4th- 5th June 2018
Rodo Hotel - Florence, Italy

With a view to examining the reciprocal and intertwined relations between history and international law, this workshop ponders the impacts exerted by historical events upon the making and drafting of modern international legal treaties and their drafters.
From international law to history, it wishes to explore instances where international legal workings (as in the making of international treaties or institutions) directly changed historical or societal courses of events.
