Legal Geography Matteo Nicolini
Legal Geography is a cross-disciplinary field of research. It examines the “spatiality of law,” i.e., how social reality is shaped by and understood (or constituted) in terms of the legal, and how the law is shaped by and understood in terms of space and place. It also explores the “law of spatiality,” i.e., the legal consideration of geographic features (physical, anthropic, economic, and social).
Legal Linguistics Matteo Nicolini
Legal linguistics is an interdisciplinary assessment, where linguistics (pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and semantics) and legal studies jointly examine the implied, authoritative meaning hinted at by spoken and written legal language within the historical, cultural, political, and social contexts where the law is practised.
