The aim of the course is to provide students an overview, also through the solution of problems and concrete cases, of two important topics of the “general part” of the criminal law and some specific sectors of the “special part” of the Italian penal code. The purpose is to deepen and update the knowledge of the Italian criminal law system also by means of the solution of specific problems and the critical analysis of some leading cases.
The course is divided in two parts: a general part and a special part.
The general part will concern:
1) the relationships between the Italian Criminal law and the European Law, especially after the entry into force of the Treaty of Lisbon on 1st November 2009;
2) the new corporate liability system introduced into the Italian legal system with the legislative decree n. 231/2001.
The special part will concern:
1) offences against Public Administration and the recent reform of 2012 concerning the corruption;
2) offences against the person and the property
