The course analyzes the fundamental premises and design of the constitutional system and government of Italian Constitution. Particular attention is given to the form of government, to fundamental rights and regional law.
The law (rules and their interpretation). The sources of law. The Italian Constitution: historical origins and characteristics. Italy and the European Union. Rights and duties of citizens. The Parliament. The President of the Republic. The Government. The constitutional principles on administration and civil service, and subsidiary bodies. The Judiciary. The Constitutional Court. Regions and local authorities.
