Students in this course are supposed to be acquainted with the basics in public law and especially administrative law. Through this course they will deepen their understanding of various topics concerning housing and urban law.
This course will provide a systematic framing of the main legal institutes in the field. Special attention will be paid to urban law sources, relevant constitutional principles, urban planning and authorisation procedures concerning land management.
Students will deepen their understanding of topics concerning the holders of land planning rights and pertaining processes, and the relationship between planning and property rights.
Specific attention will be paid to established jurisprudence and its orientations in the field. Recent case studies will be discussed which will allow a direct approach to concrete legal problems.
