Overview
This course is an in-depth study of issues of interest to social workers in public and private contexts, providing an update in social services administration and organisation. Additionally, the course aims to provide new skills to boost course partipants' professional position within the social sector. The specific objective of the course is to develop a deeper understanding of the aforementioned aspects, building theoretical and practical expertise from an interdisciplinary perspective. Course graduates will be able to successfully carry out their work in a social, cultural and economic context that requires them to deal with the contradictory situation of severe resource cuts at the same time as significant increases in requests for help and intervention.
