Short description of contents:
In recent years, climate change litigation has taken on an increasingly central role in the scientific debate. Various courts, at both national and supranational levels, are increasingly called upon to examine cases relating to climate change, which challenge traditional legal categories. The paper aims to provide an overview of some of the most significant cases classified — according to some of the most relevant databases and reports — as examples of climate change litigation in Italy, highlighting their similarities and differences and examining how this form of litigation manifests itself within the Italian judicial system.
